Customer Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of MyEventLane.

Last updated: February 12, 2026

Who We Are

MyEventLane (“MEL”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates an online platform that allows event organisers (“Vendors”) to promote and sell tickets to their events.

For event ticket purchases, MEL acts as an agent for the Vendor. The contract for the event is between you and the Vendor.

For MEL services such as promotional upgrades (“Boosting”), advertising, or platform add-ons, MEL acts as principal and supplies those services directly.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, submitting an RSVP, or using MEL, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

  1. Event Contracts

When you purchase a ticket:

• The Vendor is responsible for delivering the event.

• The Vendor sets pricing, content, and event conditions.

• MEL facilitates payment processing through Stripe Connect or other approved providers.

MEL is not responsible for the cancellation, postponement, or content of events, except where required by law.

Payments

Ticket payments are processed through secure third-party providers. For Vendor events, payment is made to the Vendor’s nominated payment account.

MEL may charge service or processing fees where disclosed.

Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refund policies for events are set by the Vendor and must comply with Australian Consumer Law.

If an event fails to meet consumer guarantees under law, you may be entitled to remedies including refund or replacement.

Refunds for MEL-provided services (such as Boosting) are governed by our Refund Policy.

Cancellations and Changes

Events may be changed or cancelled by Vendors. MEL is not responsible for changes made by Vendors.

If an event is cancelled, refund processing is handled by the Vendor via the payment provider.

User Conduct

You must not:

• Use the platform unlawfully

• Provide false information

• Interfere with platform operation

• Attempt unauthorised access

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MEL is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from Vendor events.

Where MEL supplies services directly (such as Boosting), our liability is limited to the cost of that service.

This clause does not limit rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
