Adding an event to your calendar

Keeping the correct date, time, and location in your calendar helps you arrive on time. This page explains the calendar options that may be available after you book.

What this means

Calendar links and files copy event timing (not your whole order) into your phone or desktop calendar app. They are optional shortcuts — your booking confirmation and My tickets remain your source of truth for ticket access.

What to do next

  1. Sign in and open My tickets at /my-tickets.
  2. On an upcoming booking, use Add to calendar when that button is shown on the list or booking page.
  3. On the booking page, you may also see Add to calendar (.ics) — this downloads a calendar file for the event.
  4. Open the downloaded file or follow your device prompts to save the event.
  5. Check your confirmation email for a calendar attachment (often a .ics file) when the organiser’s dates are available.
  6. Open the attachment with your calendar app, or use any calendar options shown in the email.
  7. On some event pages, you may see separate shortcuts such as Apple, Google, or Outlook — these depend on the event having published dates.

Good to know

  • Calendar options may appear only where supported — not every event has dates suitable for a calendar file, and a button may not work if the event is missing a start time.
  • Each calendar file usually covers one event. It does not replace your ticket or QR code for entry when the event requires one.
  • My tickets uses generic “Add to calendar” wording. Event pages may use provider-specific labels when those shortcuts are shown.
  • Times usually reflect what the organiser published. If details change, check the event page and your email for updates.
  • Recurring or series events are separate listings; each instance has its own calendar file when dates are set.
